Yep, that's blood!! With only about 11 miles in the bank, I hooked a toe
in the GUTS Fat Ass 50K at Kennesaw Mountain on 1/15/06 and was
rewarded with a badge of courage that the Atlanta Blood Bank would
love to have had access to. I, on the other hand, would love to have
had access to a car! Fortunately it looks worse than it was and I did
eventually get into a rhythm that got me to the finish line in four hours
and one minute and fourth place overall.
